Trip to Cleveland: The Hotel

We made a quick trip to Cleveland last weekend. We had a great time seeing family and friends that we hadn't seen in awhile. For the first two nights, my Dad and Jenny put us up in a hotel downtown. It was all very fancy. :) The boys had a blast hanging out with Grandpa and finding guitars and then swimming in the hotel pool.

Mom's Bday Bash

We had a great time celebrating my mom's 56th birthday. Good times at the Chinese Buffet and then back to Katies for Snickers cake and Graeter's Ice Cream. It was a great night.

The cake I made wasn't a disaster for a change! And Graeter's Ice Cream? Yes, please!

Football Season is Back!

We love football season in our house. We love to put on our Cowboys gear and watch the games together. Tate and Corey love to get out the football helmet and balls out and play around. Love it!

Tate's First Day of Preschool (the Second Time)

Tate started year two at Growing Tree Academy. He was really excited to go and see his friends and Mrs. Padilla. I don't think he even understood that he hadn't been there in 3 months because he was telling me stories from last year like they just happened. So, he went right into his classroom and started playing with the kids. What a difference a year makes!

Last Day of Summer Vacation

To celebrate Tate's last day of summer vacation, we went on a little lunch date to McDonalds. Tate wore his finest for the occasion.

I like to say Salsa

I have tried canning this year for the first time. I thought I would take it slow and start with salsa. I have done two batches and both turned out pretty well. I don't hate canning.

Roommate Reunion: Wyoming Edition

We had our annual get together with my wonderful BYU roomies. I love these girls so much and it is so great for our kids to play together. This was also my first trip to Wyoming and it was just lovely. Thanks for hosting a great day, Jill!

These guys are all a few months apart :)
Tate said that Garrett was his best friend. They had a fun time playing together.
