Happy Halloween!!

We had a great Halloween this year. Tate was old enough to really enjoy it this year. He loved dressing up, going to parties and (of course) getting candy. We dressed up as fireman and dalmation (in case you couldn't tell). Yesterday was some nasty weather and Tate took a late nap, but we woke him up around 6 and got him ready and took him out. I wasn't sure if he would enjoy it, but he didn't want to stop. He kept saying, "more houses! more candy!". :) It ended up being a lot of fun!

Halloween Time is Here!

We are so excited for Halloween. I love this time of year and Halloween is such a fun holiday. Tate and I decorated the porch last week and he got to carve his first jack-o-lantern with Nathan. Such fun!!

Tate's Bday Announcement

I forgot to post this with the birthday post. This is the announcement I had made for Tate's birthday. We didn't really have a party (it was me, Nathan and Corey- woo hoo!), but we did a football theme.

Tate's 3rd Birthday!

We had a little party for Tate for his birthday. We went to the mall and played during the day, went to Chuck E Cheese, then came home for cake and presents. It was a great day! Happy birthday, big boy!

Three Years Old!!

My baby turned three years old yesterday. I will post photos of that later, but here are some pictures I took of Tate last week for his three year old shoot. Tate is such a sweet little boy. I never thought I would have a little boy who is so snuggly and affectionate. He also loves to learn all he can about everything. (What is that, daddy? What is that for, mommy? Why did you do that for?) He is quite the talker and cracks us up everyday. Yesterday, Nathan told him Happy Birthday and Tate looked at him and said, "You remembered!" :) He often sounds like a little adult the way he words things. He definitely isn't a baby anymore (although this morning he told me that he is "just little" when I asked him to do something). He loves sports still. His favorites at the moment are football, basketball and baseball. He is usually pretending to be Tony Romo (or "Tiny Romo" as he calls him), Michael Jordan, or Cole (a baseball player from the Orem Owlz). And, he gets mad if you don't refer to him by whatever is he pretending to be at that moment. He also is getting into playing with cars and trucks (especially fire trucks), but everything is a bus now. This is mostly because of his love for the Doodlebops. He knows most of their songs and watches the movies (or wants to) constantly. If I need him to do anything I just say, "let's get on the bus Noodlebops (which is what he calls them)!" (aka- let's get in the car). Or, "let's get our costume on for the show, Noodlebops!" (aka- let's get dressed). Hey, it works every time! :) He loves letters and numbers and I know he is just itching to get into preschool. So, that is the next step, along with pottytraining. Yeah!! But, I just crazy about this little boy and I love that he is getting old enough to actually "hang out" with. He is a ton of fun to be around! We love you Tater Boy!I can't believe it has been 3 years! This is a little look back. The photos are from 2 mo, 1 yr, 2 yr, and last week!
