The boys looked especially cute today and we had to take pictures. Tate had to wear a tie just like daddy.

Tate's First Field Trip

While we were in Dallas, my mom took Tate (and Corey) on his first field trip with his preschool. They went to Cornbelly's Corn Maze and played around in the different fall activities. I was really sad that I couldn't take him myself, but my mom said he had a great time. Thanks mom!

Tate and Corey- Oct 2011 Pictures

For Tate's fourth birthday, I took both boys out to the old Spanish Fork Sugarbeet Factory and took their pictures. It's always an adventure to get them to cooperate, but I think we ended up with some really cute ones. Here are my favorites.

BYU Game

Katie took Tate and I to the BYU vs San Jose football game on Saturday for Tate's birthday. It was really fun, even though it was freezing and a late game. The highlight for me was watching the marching band. We watched the drumline play their pregame stuff and Tate got to play on the snare drum. He loved it! Power of the Wasatch, here we come (in 15 years)!! The highlight for Tate was probably riding the bus to the game. As we were walking up to the bus, he said "Are you so essited (excited) guys??". Tate loved it all so much that he fell asleep in the beginning of the third quarter and I had to hold him for the rest of the game and the walk back to the bus. It was a great night!

Tate's 4th Birthday!

Tate turned 4 last week and we had a pirate party. Tate is really into pirates and we had alot of fun making a pirate ship cake and going on a treasure hunt for his presents. We all dressed up like pirates (Corey's didn't last too long). Happy Birthday, Taters!! We love you soooo much!

Pirate Ship Cake

Tate loves presents (and how doesn't?). He had to immediately put on his new rollerskates and show us his moves.

His crown from preschool
Tate went to preschool on his birthday and we made this poster (and some cookies) for him to bring in for his special day.
Package from Grandma and Grandma Hess! He is sure one loved little boy!
Mickey Mouse pancakes and bacon for breakfast. This kid LOVES bacon (it isn't in the picture because he had already eaten it by the time I thought to take a picture).
Tate with his presents from Grandpa and Grandma Jenny! Sweet!

A Bad Ending to a Great Trip

Right after we left the airport after our Dallas trip, we got into a car accident. I was driving our 4Runner and it started pouring. There was so much water on the road and our car hydroplaned, spun across all of the lanes, hit the concrete median, spun back around and was stalled in the left lane on I-80. The greatest blessing was that no other car was around and nobody else hit us. We just got a little banged up, and I got some burns from the airbags. Not the best day.
We just found out that there is $13,243.75 damage to the car. They aren't considering that a total and we won't get the car back for almost a month. :(

Dallas Trip!

We just got back from a wonderful trip to Dallas. Nathan and I went for our 7th anniversary and it was awesome! It was my first trip to Texas and I loved every minute of it! The highlight of the trip was definitely the Dallas Cowboys game. The stadium was amazing and it was so fun to be there. Unfortunately the Cowboys lost, but we still had lots of fun!

We met these Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders at the Galleria Mall.

We wanted to make sure that we ate some good BBQ and some good Mexican. Check and check! :)

I had to take a picture in front of CiCi's Pizza because my BYU roommate, Christy, worked there and always talked about it. All you can eat for $4.99!!

We also got to see Warren and Hillary (Nathan's brother's family). I didn't get any pictures, but it was so great to see them and their cutest kids! Thanks, guys!
