Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We spent Christmas Eve with Nathan's family in Ogden,Christmas morning and day at home with our little family, and then Christmas night with Nathan's family. We had separate Christmas celebrations with my mom and sister and her husband before and after Christmas Day. And, we are excited to celebrate with my dad and his wife, Jenny, in January! We are really blessed and had a GREAT day!
Tate was really excited for Santa to come and bring him toys. Opening presents was alot of fun and, as always, there were too many presents! Corey enjoyed his first Christmas and had the most fun eating the wrapping paper. :) Now here are alot of photos/videos...

So much snow!

We have gotten pounded the past few weeks with snow! These photos were from the first major storm we had. The whole neighborhood was out shoveling the street. Crazy!! Tate had lots of fun though!!

Cookies for Santa

Tate is getting to the age that we can start traditions that he understands. So, on Christmas Eve, we made a few kinds of Chritmas cookies for Santa. Tate had fun putting on the "frinkles" and only a few had excessive (covered) amounts. :)

Sesame Street Live!

My mom, sister and I took Tate to Sesame Street Live a few weeks ago. He was pretty sick that day, so we almost didn't make it. But, Tate loved it and it was alot of fun! He was kind of zoning out for the show, but he still talks about it everyday and asks if we can go back. :)

Pictures with Santa

We had fun visiting Santa this year. Tate was so excited to see him and tell him what he wanted...until we got to the room and he freaked out. We could not get him near Santa. He just clung to Nathan. Corey, on the other hand, couldn't care less. The photo that we got of Tate is him sitting on my lap near Santa. Maybe next year....

Rice Cereal for Corey Boy

Since Corey is a big boy, his doctor wanted him to start rice cereal at five months. So, last night we busted it out for him and he loved it! (surprise, surprise!) I think he might be a good eater, unlike his brother. He spit a lot of it out, but ended up eating the whole boy. Have I mentioned I can't believe how big my baby is??

Five Months Old!

My baby is five months old! I can't believe how big he is and how much he is doing. He is a strong boy and loves to roll over and over on the floor. He loves to stand up and jump (with some help). His favorite thing in the world (other than his bottle) is his brother. He stares at Tate and smiles and laughs at him. He doesn't do that with anyone else. Tate doesn't always notice Corey, but Corey knows where his big brother is all the time. I can't wait until Corey gets a little bigger and they can play together.

Corey still spits up alot, but he seems to be feeling pretty good. He sleeps great and is just starting to get on more of a schedule. He loves to smile and laugh and has the cutest little face when he gets excited. Almost all of the pictures I take of him, he looks stunned, but I promise he smiles a lot! :) I am not sure how much he weighs right now, but I know he is wearing clothing that Tate wore at a year. He is a sturdy boy!

Getting Ready for Christmas!

My favorite time of the year is here! We have been decorating the tree, putting up lights, and last night we made a gingerbread house. Tate loves it all and is so fun this year!! Corey likes to look at the lights. So fun!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving. We stayed home and had my mom over for a little Turkey dinner. I cooked the turkey this year and it wasn't a disaster (which is always good). Corey enjoyed his first Thanksgiving and played next to the table while we ate. Tate sat at the table this year and loved his turkey. He even said it was better than chicken nuggets. :) I took that as the highest compliment he could have given. Overall, it was a great day.

Tate was so tuckered out that he fell asleep at 7:30 watching Toy Story 3. :)
