Gato is a Funny Word

The other day, we opened a package from Nathan's parents for Tate's birthday (we know it was early!!). He loved it from the second we took it out of the box and was climbing on it all night. While we were all playing, Nathan said "Gato" (spanish for cat in case you don't hablo espanol) because the toy teaches Spanish. Well, this cracked Tate up. Luckily, I had my camera handy and we were able to get this recorded. It cracks me up everytime I see it... So, blogger won't let me upload it directly here for some reason, so here is the link to YouTube:

So You Think You Can Dance!

My mom and I went to the So You Think You Can Dance concert on Tuesday and it was great! It was really cool to see the dancers from the show that close. A couple of them are from Utah, so there were some LOUD cheers. Our seats were on the floor (which was cool), but there were some crazy people in front of us that made the night even more interesting. All in all, it was a great night and I wish I could dance. Maybe in another life...

Four Years Together

Today is Nathan and my fourth anniversary. It has been an amazing four years and I can't believe how much closer we are today. We are best friends and have the most fun together. And, life has gotten even more fun this last year with the addition of our little Taters. Happy Anniversary, Nath!! (This picture is when we were engaged. We were so young....) :)

It's a Rough Life for a Baby

The other night Tate was eating some snacks in his high chair (yeah!) while I was doing the dishes. I didn't hear him for a second and looked over to see him slumped in his chair....sleeping. He had been at the neighbor's house playing with their kids all day, so he was just too worn out!

Where's Tate?

Tate was exploring the other day and I couldn't find him for a second. I heard some noise in the pantry and peeked in to find this little boy smiling away.

Women's (and Babies') Expo

Last Friday, my friend Taylor and I went to the Utah Valley Women's Expo. It was quite the gathering of young moms with strollers. It was alot of fun. My sister, Katie, was working at a booth there and got us free tickets. We ended up being there for about four hours and the babies were too tuckered out by the end of it! :)

Eleven Months Old!

I am a little bit of a slacker cause Tate turned 11 months on Saturday. He keeps me SO BUSY! He is a crawling, climbing and pulling-up maniac! He wants to be moving and exploring every second of the day. He isn't our snuggly baby too much anymore! Tate is doing so much better with his eating and can now eat almost anything. We still have to be careful because, as I am finding out, eggs are in a lot of things! Tate is just a happy, sweet and funny little boy and I CANNOT believe he is about to be one year old. I love spending time with him and the older he gets, the more fun we have as buddies. I am so much in love with this baby, I might explode!!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Yesterday was my mom's birthday. We went to the Cracker Barrel (a favorite of ours from Kentucky!) and had a little family dinner the other night. Tate loves having so many people around who will hold him, walk him and buy him toys! Happy Birthday, Mom! We love you!

Go Cowboys!!

Today was the Cowboy's first game and it was a great one. The 'Boys were looking great and this should be a great season! Tate is a big Tony Romo fan (we call him "Tiny Romo"- jk). We took some family pictures like we did last year for the Cowboys last game. What a difference a few months can make!!

Memories

A lot of my friends and family have been doing this - so I thought I would too!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Since this is our family blog, feel free to leave a memory about any of the three of us.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :)

Family Golfing Day

Last weekend, we all went to the Spanish Oaks driving range. It was really fun to go with Tate and he did really well. He loved to watch his mom and dad hitting balls. Next summer, he is going to be out there hitting with us!! Afterwards, we went and got shakes at the Little Acorn drive in and drove around Spanish Fork. It was a great day!!
