Hanging out with the Roomies

I got together with two of my best friends in the whole world (and former BYU roomies), Natalie and Jill. We missed Christy and Sarah though, who rudely didn't fly in from Minnesota and Japan. :) We met in good old Newton, Utah at Nat's house and it was so much fun. I loved seeing our kids together. It is crazy to see how times have changed! Love these girls!
The above picture was from our visit this time and the one below is from exactly one year ago. Look how much they have changed (especially Corey!!). :)

Cute little Jaycie. She is one month older than Corey, but much smaller (of course).

Corey seeing a horse for the first time. Up close at least.

Cute little Abby (Nat's daughter). She is a fiesty one!

Cute girls!

Visit from my Dad and Jenny

My Dad and Jenny were here last weekend and we had a wonderful time with them. They boys loved playing with them!

Corey loved this doggie at Blickenstaffs......and Grandpa gave in and got it for him. He still loves that thing!

Pirate Tate

Tate is going through a pirate thing right now. He has to dress up like a pirate and watch Jake and the Never Land Pirates. :)

Tate's Second Trip to the Dentist

Tate had his dental check up yesterday. He did great with it and doesn't have any cavities. This kid loves going to the dentist so much that he threw the BIGGEST fit when we had to leave. He said, "I told you 4 times I want to stay here all day." Wierd kid.

Corey came along to torture his brother while he sat in the chair. :)

Summer Fun

We went to the Orem Owlz game on Monday night. It was Corey's first game and he was very excited about it, for about 5 minutes. Then, he wanted to run around the rest of the time. He did love the mascots, Hoots and Holly. Tate is still terribly afraid of them. (Man, are they different!)

We are always fans of hanging out at the mall for free, cool fun. This is the boys wrestling at the play place the other night.

The guy in charge of this bungee thing let Tate jump for free the other day. We were sure he would be too scared, but he wanted to do it and LOVED it. It was pretty cute.

I love this picture (above). I love that Corey is smiling and holding onto Tate.

This morning, I was getting ready and I found Tate wearing most of my bracelets. He was pretending to be a robot (or Madonna, I am not sure).

I can't believe summer is almost over! We are not impressed with that, but we are trying to live it up while we can!

Pics of Taters

I also took some pics of Tate today. He was being very silly, but also pretty cooperative. He is really excited to start preschool in a few weeks! Such a big boy!

Corey- 13 Months

Corey is now 13 months old. He has more personality and craziness everyday! The biggest change in the last month is his language. He is talking (or doing what he thinks is talking) a lot more. He can say, mama, dadda, ball, doggie, num num, no no, and bye bye. Then, he says a bunch of things that think are words. He mostly just babbles and looks at you like you should understand. He also says "my" alot (my dadda, my ball). He LOVES balls and throwing anything is his specialty. When he puts his arm behind his head, you better watch out. He will chuck something right at your head. He is also a pretty rough little boy. I have to follow him around in public to make sure he doesn't hit or push other kids. He can take down his brother like it is no big deal. People get a kick out of watching him come up behind Tate and tackle him to the ground. And, Tate loves it! I don't know what to do with these crazy boys! Nathan says this is what boys do. Guess I have a lot to learn about boys. While Corey is a crazy boy, he can also be so sweet and cuddly. He gives kisses (big, open mouth ones) when you ask for one. He is also so snuggly and sweet when he wakes up. I love this kid so much, I could just squeeze him (and I do- about 30 times a day)!

We took these pictures today. His hair is a little crazy, so we just spiked it up. Nana Nana Nana Nana Nana Bat Baby!
This is his "blankie". He loves this thing (and it stinks).

Here he is about to chuck something. Watch out!

Florida Trip- Travelin'

Florida is a long way away from Utah (in case you didn't know). And, our flights were long and we had lots of transfers. On the way there, we were on one plane for 6.5 hours straight (not counting our transfers). And, if you have met Corey, you might understand why it felt like 100.5 hours. He doesn't like to sleep being held and he wants to run and get into things constantly. But, we made it there and back safely and had a wonderful trip (other than the travel part). I was so glad that my mom and Katie were there to help!
The above photo was NOT taking while we were flying, in case you wanted to report me. Tate was such a good boy during the flight.
This is Corey running around like a crazy person in the Orlando airport. Right after this, he ran into the gift shop and chucked a coffee mug (that I had to pay for).
This is the boys wearing Panama City shirts (Ron Jon Surf Shop) when we were home. So cute.
