Guess What We Are Having...

If you guessed a girl, you would be WRONG. We are having a boy!! Everyone (including me) thought this baby was a girl, except Nathan. Nath was the only person that thought it was another boy. We did an ultrasound on Saturday and sure enough, there was something between the legs! We are so excited and I am already thinking of how I can dress Tate and the new baby in matching outfits!! Here are all the photos from the ultrasound. The baby is 18 weeks along due at the end of June.

Crazy Tate

We realized we hadn't taken a video of Tate since Christmas, so we pulled out the camera and recorded Tate doing what he does all day- shooting hoops.

Jazz vs. Caveliers

A few weeks ago, Nathan and I went to the Jazz/ Cavs game. It was one of Nathan's presents since it has always been his dream to see LaBron play. This game was crazy expensive, so we had about the worst seats you could get. We were so high, I was a little afraid I was going to fall. But, we got to watch all the players warm up and play most of the first quarter from a few rows up from the floor. We got to watch LaBron do his half court shots at practice (he missed all of them) and do his chalk thing for the media. It was pretty crazy. Now, you may know that this was a pretty exciting game with an awesome finish. We, unfortunately left a half time because it was so late, so we missed all of that. But, it was still exciting and a lot of fun!

Fun with the Cheesy Mouse

This past Saturday was the Cowboys playoff game (they won!!), so Taters and I left Nathan to focus and went to Chuck E Cheese with my mom. I had such fond memories of that place as a kid, so I was really excited to take Tate there. Well, it was MUCH more stressful than I remembered! I thought I was going to pass out it was so hot and crowded in there. BUT, Taters did love it and hasn't stopped talking about it since. He had to tell everyone at church today that he went to Chuck E Cheese and played games. He loved the basketball game most (of course) and loved watching the somewhat creepy characters sing while we ate pizza. We told him that the mouse was named Chuck E Cheese, and he kept calling him the "cheesy mouse." Overall, it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed watching Taters have so much fun.
(Note in the above picture that Tate is standing next to the red "Plase No Standing on Games" sign.) :)

Tate's First Sledding Trip

Today, we took Taters on his first sledding trip. Tate and I got Nathan a sled for Christmas and he has been anxious to try it out. Even Tate has asked a few times to go sledding, although he has no idea what that really means. Before today, that entailed Nathan pulling him around the house while he was sitting in the sled. But, today we got all bundled up and took Taters to the Spanish Oaks golf course to go sledding. We weren't sure if that was even allowed, but when we pulled up there were tons of people! Tate absolutely loved it! I wasn't sure if he would be scared or nervous about it, but he just jumped in the sled with Nath and went for a ride. He smiled the whole time and yelled "wee" and "more fast", "more far." It was pretty funny. He wouldn't even get out of the sled at the bottom of the hill because he wanted to keep going. So, overall, it was a successful trip!
