Happy 5th Birthday, Tate!

Taters is 5! I can't believe it. He is such a fun, sweet, interesting, and imaginative little boy. He is a blast to hang out with and he still loves to snuggle and tell his family how much he loves us. He is really into Mario right now, so he wanted a Mario party. With the help of Pinterest, we made all of the decorations and it turned out pretty cute. Tate loved it, which is the most important thing.

Opening Presents
Katie got him underwear and Tate thought that was pretty funny

More presents. He wouldn't take this coat off for pictures. It was his "pilot" jacket.
Love this handsome boy!

After we had our little party at our house, we went to the Nickel Arcade and had lots more fun!
Later than night, Tate modeled the gifts from Grandpa and Grandma Jenny. He is one loved little boy!

 What a GREAT DAY!

Tate's Birthday Week

The week leading up to Tate's birthday was full of presents and party prep. Nathan put up a countdown to his birthday on the wall and everyday Tate got to pull a number down and open some presents (mostly little things from the dollar store and some candy). Tate looked forward to it everyday and had a lot of fun with it.
On the night before his birthday, he got to open his big present from us. We got him a console that plays old school Nintendo and Super Nintendo. He was a little excited about it. :)
The day before his birthday, Tate went to preschool and celebrated his birthday. He brought in treats (chocolate Wii controllers) and a poster collage of family pictures and his favorite things (Mario stuff). He also got to wear his Mario shirt to school and be the VIP. It was a great day!

Best Friends

Tate and Nathan have such a special bond. They love spending time with each other and Tate wants to be just like his daddy. I came home from a photo shoot and they were both wearing their jerseys for the Cowboys game and Tate wanted me to take a picture of them. Love my boys!
