Around the House

Here are some photos of the boys being silly while we have been couped up. I have about 40 more of these. Tate wanted me to take a picture of him with everything we own (Snowy the bear, this toy, that toy, the pretzels, his cup....). And anytime Corey noticed that I had the camera out, he was trying to get it (like in the above picture).

I love this picture. Corey was having a bottle and Tate pulled him on his lap and they stayed like that for quite awhile watching Wonder Pets. They can be so sweet....

Playing with the Boys

Since it has been so rainy the past week, we haven't gotten to play much outside. But, as soon as the sun comes out for a minute, we get on our jackets (it is still freezing!) and go outside to play.

Our Garden

I have always wanted a garden. But, I tend to kill all plants (even the "sturdy ones"), so we never have planted a garden. But, this is the year! We planted a garden in our backyard with a few vegetables and we will see how it goes. As a backup, I put up one of those topsy turvy tomato planters. :) I want to make salsa!

Mother's Day 2011

I had the best Mother's Day last week! I got to sleep in (YEAH!!) and woke up to chocolate chip pancakes! The house was clean and there were gifts and balloons and my cute boys waiting for me. What else could you ask for? Later in the day, my mom came over for a BBQ. It was just a great day!This video is Taters singing me a Mother's Day song (which is actually from Full House)..

Haircut (finally!) for Corey

I finally gave Corey a haircut this morning. That kid had some crazy hair. Yesterday, he was on Katie's trampoline and this is what he looked like: Now this is what he looks like. Much better. :)

Corey is Ten Months Old!

Corey is now ten months old! He is going to be one before we know it! Corey is a very busy boy and loves to play with his big brother, Tate (even though Tate isn't always very nice to him). Corey is still growing and loves to eat. He can eat almost anything. Just tonight he was drinking a smoothie with me. He loves to play patty cake and sing songs. He says mama all the time and occasionally says nana and dada. He has three teeth (all bottom ones) and still has crazy hair. I think it is time for a major haircut for this boy, but I am afraid to use scissors on him. So, we will see about that.
This picture is how Corey looked when we got him up from his nap on Sunday. Somehow, he had taken off one sleeve of his shirt. At least he seems pretty happy about it.

Corey has been taking steps for about two weeks now, but I have never been able to get it on video. Even if I hide with the camera, he senses it and sits down. But, tonight we got a semi-decent video of him stepping. He also just started standing up in the middle of the room (without climbing on furniture). He isn't a really confident walker yet, but he is working on it and can definitely get where he needs to go (which is usually to the toilet or up the stairs). :)
