Riley Jane Hess is Here!

After three weeks of bedrest at 37 weeks, Riley made her entrance into the world. Our C-section was scheduled for about 9:00, so we had to be at the hospital at 6:00 am. My mom stayed with the boys, so Nathan could be with me. Here I am getting ready to leave (and looking giant and puffy).

The C-section was a major success. It was really quick and everything went really smoothly. This was my easiest labor by far.

And, at 8:58 am Riley was born! She weighed 6 lbs 2 oz and was 19 inches long. We were all really shocked at how tiny she was. But, she was perfect in every way!

She was so pretty from the moment she was born. We were instantly in love!
