Happy Halloween!!

We had a wonderful Halloween! Tate dressed up as a monkey and I dressed up as a banana. We had fun playing outside and watching all of the neighborhood kids walk around. Tate loved being in his costume and also loved playing in the candy bowl. It was such a great night!

Before we dressed up Tate, I had some fun taking pictures of him playing outside. Please note that he is STANDING in the first picture. He is such a big boy and I would guess that he will be walking pretty dang soon. He breaks me heart when he looks so old.

Weather Baby

Tate has developed an interesting fascination lately. He LOVES to watch the weather on TV. We watch the news every morning after he wakes up and he gets very excited when Al Roeker comes on with his weather map. He either laughs, points, or just stares. I think he loves the colorful map, but it is pretty funny how obsessed he is with it.

Fall Fun

The last week has been so warm in the evenings that we have had a lot of fun playing outside. Tate loves being outside and would crawl and climb around all day if we would let him. I love this beautiful weather!

Doritos and Football

This past Sunday, the Cowboys finally won!! Tate was wearing his gear and eating Doritos with Daddy during the game. This little boy loves his Doritos... (His face is red because he had just gotten up from a nap.)

Tate and Zoe

The other night we (my mom, sister and I) went to the Pizza Factory with my friend Emily (who I grew up with in KY), her new baby Zoe and her mom, Judy, who was visiting. Zoe is just 5 weeks old and still only weighs 8 lbs (which is 8 oz less than Tate weighed at birth). It was a fun time for all. Tate had an especially good time because he got to eat his first sucker. He thought it was the greatest thing ever. Don't judge me...... ;)

Such a Big Boy

I have had several moments lately where I have almost cried thinking how big my baby is. He is doing things that little boys do (like exploring, getting dirty, playing with other kids, eating normal foods :) and so many other things). I love spending time with this little person and it is fun to get to know more about him. He cracks Nathan and I up every minute we are with him.

Tate's First Birthday Party

This past Saturday, we had a little family party for Tate's birthday. It started out a little rough because Spanish Fork lost power for about an hour and a half while we were getting ready for the party. But, the power came back on just in time! We had a lot of fun hanging out with family and Tate loved dancing and playing with his cousins. Thanks to everyone who came and we love you all! We also missed our family from farther away that couldn't be there!!! Here are some pictures so you can feel like you were there! :)

Tiny Tate Party

We had a little "party" for Tate's birthday with just our little family on Monday night. He wasn't too into the cake, but he liked the frosting!!

ONE YEAR OLD!!!

Tater Boy is one today!!!! I can't believe that my little baby is growing up! He is not the cuddly, calm little baby he used to be. He is a busy and curious little boy! I gave him a "big boy" haircut last night and he looks so handsome. We took some birthday pictures and he looks so old to me. One Year Ago Today...

With Tate's first birthday coming tomorrow, I have been very nostalgic lately about the last year. I keep thinking how much our lives have changed (that is an UNDERSTATEMENT!) and how wonderful this past year has been. The last few days, I have been thinking about my pregnancy. It is so crazy for me to think that the crazy little boy I know used to be in my belly. One year ago today, I was overdue and miserable. Nathan and I went to dinner and I thought I had indigestion.... The next day, Taters was born!! Here is me from one year ago....I hope I look different now! :)
