So, I got another job. :) I just got hired with a really cool photography company, CheapShots! Photography. They are a great company with GREAT prices! They do School Pics (Kids Portraits) for $35 for the whole family and then family photos for $65 (with all the copyrights, edits, and a Christmas card design). I just started doing shoots this week and I am loving it!! It might be a little crazy with everything else going on, but I am really excited. Isn't this a sweet face? He is still a chunk weighing in at 15 lbs 4 oz and wearing 6 month clothing. And, he is really sick in these pics, but still happy.
Last Friday was my mom's birthday and to celebrate, my sister, Tate and I took her to the Little America in Salt Lake City. We just hung out, swam and then went to Gardner Village the next day. It was a lot of fun!
We took some pictures of the boys on Thursday when we were trapped in our house because they tarred our street and wouldn't let us leave our driveway for 9 hours (long story, but REALLY annoying!). I think they turned out so cute! I love these boys!!
Anyone who has talked to me in the last year or so, knows that we have only had one (working) car for about two years. We finally decided to donate the Nissan Sentra GXE Limited Edition (as we used to call it) with a little help/prodding from my dad. I got that car at BYU and it was such a great car through college and when Nathan and I were first married. It started going downhill a few years ago and we decided to stop fixing it about two years ago and it has pretty much sat in our garage. Tate calls it his "broken car" and it has been his jungle gym for quite awhile. But, the Kidney Foundation came and got it last week and it is our of lives. Goodbye Broken Car!!
BUT, the best news of all is that we got a new car last week too!!!! I could not be more excited about it because it is everything we wanted in a car. We got a 2008 Toyota 4Runner. It is gorgeous and should last our family for at least ten years!! And, it is coming at a perfect time because I started back at work last week. I love this car (Sorry this is the best photo I have of it)!!
I am a little behind on the blogging (and I have a lot to catch up on). But, my Corey boy is ten weeks now and he just gets sweeter every day. He loves his swing and he loves his family. He is such a smiley boy and will strain his little head to see his mom, dad or brother. He even laughs now and is trying out his little voice. It is so cute to see him trying to make different sounds. His eye lashes seem to be growing everyday and are black (not white at all anymore) and curled. It looks like we have another pretty boy! :)
Corey is nine weeks old, as of yesterday. I know every week I say that he has changed so much, but I think this week is the biggest. He looks like a different baby because his eyelashes turned black (from white!) and are super long. And, he is smiling all the time now, which changes the look of his face. Just this morning, I had to get my camera out because I was going crazy over how cute he was being. I love this baby so much, I can't stand it!
I had the best time yesterday! I met up with two of my roommates from BYU, Natalie and Jill. We haven't seen each other in about two years and it was so great to get together. We were the best of friends and really crazy at BYU. We have since multiplied big time and it was fun to see all of our kids play together! We really missed our other roomies, Christy and Sarah, but they are too far away at the moment. It was fun to think back on all our good times! I love those girls!
