Happy 6th Anniversary!

Today is our sixth wedding anniversary! It has been a great six years and I love you so much, Nathie!!

Stuff My Taters Says

We were driving and Tate asked me if we were driving on a bridge. I said, "yep, we are getting off the highway." Then, he replied, "Are we going to the low way?"
Tate said to me last night, "Mom, am I on Facebook? Cause I really need to be on Facebook."
Tate was pretending to talk on the phone. He said, "Hi mom. I'm calling you, but I 'm going to send you an email instead."
We were visiting Tate's preschool, Growing Tree Academy. We were outside and Tate looked around and said, "But, all these trees already grew."
Tate and I were watching the Bachlorette (good family television). Tate looked at me afterwards and said, "She is looking everywhere for her husband, but she can't find him anywhere!" So true, Taters.
Tate noticed that I didn't have earrings on and he asked, "Mom, where are your earings?" I told him that I didn't put any on that day. He then said, "You should always wear earrings when you go out." Fashion advice from a 3 year old boy, always good to remember!
Last night during dinner, Tate says out of nowhere "I am so frustrated about ghost ships." Who isn't?
Tate has some funny phrases that he has picked up from me. We were at McDonalds the other day and Tate came out of the play area and said, "Mom, that kid was trying to sabotage me." He also says, "That was quite the thing" alot.
We were driving and I hear Tate say out of the blue, "I love Justin Beaver. Core, Core, do you like Justin Beaver?"
Tate was pretending that this remote control was a phone. I overheard him saying, "Oh, hi Jimmer. Yeah, I can come over."
We got home from chuch and Tate looked deep in thought. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was thinking about ghosts. I said, "Oh really?" and he said, "well, I am thinking about Holy Ghosts."
We were driving (which is how most of these start) and saw a bunch of American Flags. He asked me what America is and I told him that we live in America. He thought about it and said, "Yeah, and Grandpa lives in Kentucky." :) He already gets it that Kentucky is another world.
We were driving and saw a cat in the road. Tate said, "That cat's name is Stevie." I said, "That is your grandma's name." And he said, "I know, that is my cat grandma."
I asked Tate what he wanted for Christmas and he replied, "rich, dark chocolate." Do you think he watches too many commercials? :)
Tate and I were driving and this was our conversation: Me: "Shoot,I forgot my coupons." Tate: "Oh darn it. I am sorry mom." Me: "Thanks, Tate." Tate: 'Thanks for your concern." Me: "You are funny, Tate. Is Corey going to be funny like you?" Tate: "No, he will just laugh at me."
I asked Tate what he wanted to ask Santa for and he said, "A Farkly (sparkly) House." Anyone know where to get a farkly house?
Tate's new favorite show is Sid the Science Kid. He watched an episode about Minnesota (and cold weather). Later that day, we were driving and I could tell he had been thinking about something. He said,"I think I would like to drink Minnesota because it is cold." I thought, what?? Then, I realized he was thinking MinneSODA. :)
I was kneading some bread dough and Tate saw the dough all over my hands. He said, "Mommy, you get that off your hands right now. You are in big trouble. Do you understand?" Gee, I wonder if he has ever heard that before??
Tate stood up on a chair and said, "I am a superhero and my super power is standing on chairs." Look out, bad guys!
Tate was pretending to be a doctor. He had a rope thing he was using as a stethascope. He said "I will check your heart, but I need to dance for a second." He then danced. Hasn't your doctor ever done that?
