Memories

A lot of my friends and family have been doing this - so I thought I would too!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Since this is our family blog, feel free to leave a memory about any of the three of us.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :)

I think one of our best memories, is when we lived in the house. We had some great times, but the time that really sticks out was when you gave me that picture of all of us in the frame. I still have that picture and it makes me smile remembering all the good times we had!!
I don't know if you even know about my blog, it's http://bethanyporter.com

Oh Megan, where do I start? There could be the time that we called the police on the poor doctor who was doing a house call because we thought he was stalking us! Or the hours and hours that we spent in your pool in the summer! Or all of the dances that we made up in our leotards that we forced everyone who would sit still to watch! Or my wedding! Oh the list could go on! I know that's more than one memory but I have so many I just couldn't choose! How about the time we rode down I-75 in the back of Matt P's truck during a party? Oh the fun we had back in the day!

Well, of course, the first memories were before I even met you and Natalie informed me that we were going to have a roommate who was *gasp* in the BYU Marching Band. (I think she was implying that you were going to be a big nerd or something :) Then there were all the Boy Band posters covering your wall & I almost had to agree with her. But once we got over the fact that you weren't a band geek and you were totally funny & awesome, our freshman year was full of fun memories. I will also never forget me & Natalie's trip out to visit you. I loved every minute of it from the Gap Outlet to King's Island (my favorite!) Thanks for being such a great friend!

I was just remembering being at the waterslides with Nathan and all of the crazy things he used to do...almost taking out the lifeguard when he tried to go down the slide on the 2 man raft, making a huge chain of tubes at Cherry Hill, and cracking open his head on a different tube slide...oh the joys of the Hess family. Too bad you weren't there for those times but we are sure to have MANY more crazy things happen I am sure!...it's always fun doing the March Madness tournies and trash talking the boys... and I will never forget hearing Nate talking all about you on our way up to Bozeman for Thanksgiving right after he met you, even though he was still dating some other chick at the time...you had quite the 1st impression!

I did this too and I loved hearing what people had to say. Okay, here we go...so I remember the first time I met you at DCFS and I knew you as the CPS supervisor and I totally admired you and I saw the support you offered to your team. I remember going to Chic-fa-le and your obsession with the food there, I remember you doing karaoke in front of everyone at DCFS and organizing the whole thing! I remember the awesome baby shower you hosted for me, I remember the smiles and laughter that surrounded you and had such a powerful affect on others. I remember when you had us girls over for dinner and to see your new beautiful home, we sang karaoke and ate yummy food. Megan, most of all you are the funniest girl I know!!!!!
