We were very sad to hear about the passing of President Hinckley, our church's prophet. He was such a wonderful man and we will miss him greatly. I am also sad that Tate will not get the opportunity to know him.
I totally agree with you, Hayden knows him as the prophet, but I'm sad that my kids will not be able to really understand the way we do how great he was. We will have to just teach them through our own experiences huh? I'm so sad too! It was a huge shock for us, even though we knew it was bound to happen with his age.
I found out this morning when mom called and told me! I never get to hear the news! It is so sad! He brought so much to the church, but we all know he is in a much better place and is being blessed past our wildest dreams for his service! What an amazing man! And we are so lucky to have had him!
