I am a Freak

I know that I am completely behind the rest of the world, but I just finished reading the third book in the Twilight series. I started the first, Twilight, last week when we were on vacation and have been crazy-obsessed ever since. Nathan had told me awhile ago that everyone at his work was reading these vampire stories and I was not impressed. I am not so much into reading things about vampires. BUT, nobody told me about the LOVE!! Holy cow there is so much love in these books that I have been going insane between being so excited and then bawling my eyes out. I do love love. So, I finished the third book a few minutes ago, and I can't handle it. I ordered the fourth book a few days ago and purposely had it delivered in a week so that I can have some sort of life in the mean time. I haven't been able to do anything since I started reading these books, including sleep. I stay up all night reading and then dream all night about Edward and Bella. Nathan asked me today when I was going to be normal again. I told you I am a freak. At least I am not alone....the more I talk to people and look online, the more freaks I find, Twerds as I heard them called. I can't wait for the movie now!!!!

I just finished #4. I'd have to say I think Eclipse was my favorite. Hurry and read it so we can discuss! :) I've been meaning to call you this week to ask you about your fondant experiences. I was going to try it this week for Cassidy's birthday cake, but I spent too much time reading to have time for it! What a slacker mom!!

Oh Megan I love you and hey, I guess I'm a freak as well. I'm so in love with those books and that was a very wise choice is having the book come in a week. I waited a week after I got back from Utah and it was a good thing, I got a lot done. But now the book is here and it's controlling me, making me neglect everything I should be doing. I love it and I can't wait for you to read it so we can talk about it. Are you for Edward or Jacob? I'd hope Edward, he's so incredible...Be glad you just started because you have not had to wait for all the books to come out and you could read them close together. I hate waiting and then you feel like you have to go read the books over when the next one comes out. Okay, I'm done with my rambling.

A girl in one of my classes told about these books and it took me a while, but when I finally picked up the first one I couldn't put it down! I read it in 1 1/2 days, and then went to Target the next day and got books 2 and 3! I am sooo in love! Every where I have gone to get book 4 they've been sold out so I might have to order it online. Not like I have time to read it right now...but I want to!!!! No, I have to!

How funny! The idea of vampires is what turned me off too. I gave in last week as well because I needed something to read on the way to KY. I have never felt this way about a book before! CRAZY! I am waiting for #3 at the library- but I'll probably give in and buy it just like i did with 1 and 2. Oh and dreams!!! I think we are all brainwashed!

Going along with everyone else's comments, if you are a freak, then I am too!!!! I'm reading the fourth book now! It's GREAT, but that's the only sneak preview I'll give. But I am proud of myself for reading it in a bit more moderation than I did the last three--although if I just gave up the rest of my life temporarily and devoted it to reading, at least I'd get it out of my system. I thought about posting a picture of my crazy-messy house on my blog as the "During" picture of my life while reading The Eclipse, but I didn't think Jon would think it was funny.

I tell ya you are NOT a freak! I Had people telling me for over a year to read them and gave in in May/June. and read it in no time flat. i was patient and waited for the next 2 and read them in no time. And I finished book 4 and I'm so sad its the end of the story. No more, though Stephenie may do more from other characters. Right now she has twilight from Edwards point of view, but she's doing it for fun, and hoping she can get it out soon. And there are 2 movie trailers! And if you look it up they have a full scene that played at Comic-con!
My husband claims he looses his wife when I read these books. They are so addicting though! the 4th one you better prepare for its 750 pages!

I'm glad to hear you like them. I'm afraid to admit that I was probably one of the obsessed freaks that Nathan had to hear always talking about the books at work. I just finished the 4th and it didn't disappoint. Happy reading!

Don't worry, I sacrifice sleeping and eating for some Twilight, although I haven't read the 4th book yet (seriously, what's wrong with me?!). Glad to see you got the Twilight bug =)
