Oct 1 Has Come and Gone...
We just wanted to let the world know that we are still hanging around with no little boy yet. We got really excited last night thinking that it could be time, but I went to sleep and woke up feeling just fine. :( We go to the doctor tomorrow and I am going to try and talk him into getting something going pretty soon! He has said that he will not induce until around Oct 11 (next Thursday!!) and that seems like an eternity away at this point. But, Tate is still active in there and we are grateful that everything has been healthy and smooth up to this point! We are hoping to have exciting news to report sometime soon!! We can't wait to hold our little boy!!!!

Oh the waiting game..that is the worst! Every day just drags on and every little kick makes you think you might be in labor. Slip Dr. Holmes a $50 and see if that will nudge him to an earlier induction date, or just wait it out. In the end, it won't matter because you'll finally have your little Tate. Good luck!
Blast! I do think that you should wait to be induced. Do it late on the 11th. Mostly I want you to do this so that you are miserable (jk) but really...I want baby Tate to be born on the 12th That's right...my birthday!
We can't wait either! Hang in there! Cass and Cade were each a week late- but it was sure worth it!! Love you guys!
ps they were also my shorter labors, Luke was on time, but much longer! Maybe that will be your lot....a little later that you would like, but quick coming out!!
megan-I'm julie's sister -in-law and I totally know what you're going through. My doctor wouldn't induce until I was 2 weeks late and I gained 70 pounds! I could hardly move and was miserable. I hope you stay sane this next little bit. Of course it will be worth it in the end. Maybe consider looking up symptoms on rare diseases on the internet...tell your doc you have those symptoms and maybe he'll get that baby out ASAP:-) Good luck
So I was thinking, Dr. Holmes induced me with Hayden on his due date and Roman a week early...he must be playing games with you. I check your blog every day for an update, get that baby out! =)
Okay Megan, It's time to move back to Kentucky! I saw my Dr. a week before my due date, he saw how miserable I was and he induced me the day after Jonah's due date! I have the best doctors in the world. So next time you decide to do this just come home to KY and join my practice and set you're own due date! JK! Love you girl and miss you soo much! You look great! Pregnancy agrees with you! Hve fun, enjoy this! Sleepless nights are on the way! And more happiness than you could ever have dreamed of!
I am getting so anxious to see your little guy! I hopped on the Hess blog today thinking for sure you would have had him by now. Today is the 4th, so you might already be a mommy! I can't believe Dr. Holmes is making you wait until the 11th!
