Summer Shots
In honor of the first day of summer, Tate and I went outside to take some pictures. He wasn't in a smiley mood, so we were able to take some "serious" shots. :) Also, thanks to my dad who let me borrow his lens and I can use my big camera again.

Future Golf Pro
This video will someday be shown on ESPN as Tate is winning the Green Jacket at the Masters. This is Tate's first time holding a golf ball and he was so excited that he was spazing with it. (Sound like anyone you know??)

Tate Laughing
I know I have been a posting fool lately, but my new camera is so fun. I finally can put videos on here. I took this video on my birthday when we were putting Tate to bed. Every night he just starts cracking up right before he goes to bed. He loves to look at Nathan and just laugh. It is funny in the video when he notices the camera, then goes back to laughing at dad. There is nothing better than a baby's laugh!

Birthday Celebration Part 4/ Father's Day
Sunday was a really special day. It was Nathan's first Father's Day as a Father. Nathan is such a wonderful husband and an incredible father to Tate. I can't believe how much they love each other and it is my favorite thing to watch them together. Thanks for every thing you do, Nathie, you are the most wonderful!!
Also,my dad and his wife, Jenny, were here from Kentucky. They got in on Saturday night and came over Sunday (along with my mom, sister and her husband). We spent the day playing with Tate, playing Wii, and eating. My dad hadn't seen Tate since before his surgery, so it was fun for him to get to spend time with Tater boy. Nathan also made his famous Tri Tip and it was delicious! We then had a cake and cupcakes (thanks Mom!) for my birthday! This is officially the end of Birthday Week. I am exhausted, but had such a great week. Thanks to everyone for being so sweet- especially Nathie!!!
Birthday Celebration Part 3
Saturday, Nathan took me to Lagoon for the day. It was so nice to spend the day together and do something we haven't done before. We both love rollercoasters and we had a fun day at Lagoon. It was really hot and we had some interesting adventures, but it was a lot of fun. My favorite was just spending the day with Nathan! Shelley and Alan watched Tate for the day- thank you guys!!!

Birthday Celebration Part 2
On Friday, my mom and I went to Park City for lunch and to shop the outlets. Park City is one of my favorite places and it was great to take Tate up there and also get some new clothes! I ended up buying more for Tate than for Nathan or myself, but he does look cuter in clothes than I do! It was also very helpful to have my mom there and we could take turns watching Tate and trying on clothes. He was such a good boy and let us have lunch and shop for hours! It was a great day!

Birthday Celebration Part 1
Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. It was my 26th birthday and it was so special! Nathan (of course) went over the top and had the whole house decorated with balloons, signs with pictures of him and Tate, presents and treats (Krispy Kreme!). He wouldn't let me lift a finger all day. I then went to McDonalds and got my yearly McGriddle breakfast sandwich. At work, the whole office was decorated with signs everywhere. We went to Carabbas for some excellent Calamari and fried Zucchini. Then, they had a party for me in the afternoon with brownie cupcakes and ice cream. (Thanks Megan and Shylo!!!!) I then got my favorite little boy and went home to play for awhile. Nathan came home and we opened presents. I got a camera!!!! Yeah!! I am so excited and was able to take pictures of the rest of the day! I also got a great Weight Watchers cookbook from Tate :) and some more treats and my Saturday surprise was revealed. Nathan and I are going to spend the day at Lagoon!! Nathan got me a Snickers Cake that he had decorated with my name and he sang Happy Birthday to me. (Tate didn't cry like he did on Nathan's birthday!) THEN- I know there's more- Nathan, Tate and I went to Cracker Barrel for some blueberry pancakes. Oh, it was such a wonderful day! I was exhausted at the end of the day after all of the celebrating!! Thanks to everyone for being so sweet and making my day so special! Most of all- thanks to Nathan who has to be the best husband in the world! I don't think anyone can top him!! I love him sooooo much! I was also so happy to share my day with Tate this year. He makes everything more fun! Here are the photos from the day!

Are you missing us?
Sadly, I have not been able to do much posting lately because I don't have a camera to take pictures. And, who wants to read my thoughts on stuff? I know people just want to see pictures of a tiny baby stud. My little camera has been broken for awhile and I broke the lens on my nice one. So, I am struggling on a daily basis because Tate is so cute and doing so many cute things and I have no camera. I am an artist without a paintbrush here! These pictures I took with my camera phone. But, he is still cute with his puffy cheeks! I am surprised I haven't kissed them off yet!

Tate is Eight Months Old!!
Tate is eight months old today. Nathan and I were looking at a picture of Tate from the day he was born and we can't believe how much he has changed! He is so interactive and fun these days. He loves to sit up and play with his toys. He isn't crawling yet, but he can get anywhere he needs to go by rolling. He can make it from one room to the next when you turn your head for a second. He loves to say Dada and Mama (or just Mom sometimes). He usually whispers when he says dada, which always makes us laugh. Tate also loves to laugh and will crack up whenever we laugh. It is a chain reaction....he does something funny, we laugh, he laughs, which makes us laugh even harder. What a fun age!

Tate's First Haircut
Tate's hair has been looking a little shaggy lately, so we decided to give him a haircut yesterday. I am not a professional hairdresser anyways, but trying to give a haircut to a squirmy baby is not easy! I was just glad that I didn't poke him with the scissors or leave his hair with chunks missing. He looks so cute and so much more grown up. Also, his hair looks a little red in these pictures....it is just our red curtains nearby. Tate is a little blondey boy.
Before the Haircut...
After the Haircut!
