Tate had his two month check up yesterday. Everything went really well and the doctor says he looks really healthy. His weight and height are perfect and his head is a little on the big side. I think it is because he has so many brains in there. Tate is also doing well developmentally and seems to be right on track. During the appointment, Tate just stared at the doctor as if he was listening to everything he said. It was pretty cute. As part of his appointment, our little boy had to get his shots. He got three shots in his little legs. He was such a good boy and didn't even cry for the first shot. It was as if he didn't notice the nurse had jabbed him in the leg. For the other two, he cried and then stopped immediately. He was quiet and smiling by the time we got to the car and asleep by the time we got home. He seemed to be in pain for a few hours last night (poor Nathan stayed up with him for a few hours while he cried-what a good dad and husband!!!). But, he slept through the second half of the night and seems to be feeling better today. He is on the floor playing- smiling, cooing and kicking his legs.

Oh, I hate shots! I know they are for their own good but it hurts me! I just sit there thinking "It keeps them healthy! It keeps them healthy!" But, it sounds like he is a good baby so that helps.
