Tate has just recently become aware of toys. We have tried many times before to show him things like mobiles and hanging toys but he hasn't been interested. Just in the past day, I have noticed that he looks at and is now staring at his mobile on his swing and the hanging spiders on his bouncy chair. It is really neat to watch him look at these toys. He studies them so intently like they just entered the world. I am so happy that he has reached this milestone for two reasons: one, it is amazing to see a child see something for the first time and two, because it is one more thing that distracts him so I can get stuff done! :)

This is such a great stage. I love it when they start to notice things. It is so magical and fun! especially this time of year with all the Christmas lights. Have you put him under the tree yet to look at the lights. My kids always love that! Have fun!
Oh boy! Toys are so much fun. Now you can REALLY spoil him!
